The Academic Advising and Study Skills Service offers information sessions, training, and personalized support to guide students through the process of adaptation and growth within the university setting, with the goal of fostering the development of metacognitive skills and effective study strategies, while promoting a mindful and independent approach.
Who is this service intended for?
This service is intended for those who want to:
- understand the specific characteristics of the academic environment and university studies;
- gain awareness of one’s own learning styles, strengths, and areas for improvement;
- promote the development of personalized and flexible study strategies.

What do we offer?

Online Individual Counseling Sessions
One-on-one meetings lasting approximately 30 minutes (up to a maximum of 3 meetings per student per academic year). To schedule an appointment, please fill out the form.
MOOC Course: “From Studying to Strategies: Approaching College with a Systematic Approach” (Under Construction)
An educational platform, available on OPEN.BICOCCA, that offers an in-depth program and tools to help students reflect on their study methods and develop effective learning strategies.
